Metal Sales Standing Seam Roof Systems
Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation, the nation’s leader in metal roof and wall systems, introduces its newest product offering: the T-Armor Series™ Structural Standing Seam Roof System.
The T-Armor Series uses Metal Sales’ concealed clip design to allow for a sustainable, cost-effective and practical roofing panel system for new construction or retrofit. To achieve this level of performance, Metal Sales has implemented its unique sealed seam cap into the T-Armor Series. The sealed seam cap design has several advantages over the standard interlocking leg system, allowing for multi-directional panel installation, simple replacement of a damaged panel and provides superior weather tightness.
The T-Armor Series also offers an optional continuous concealed clip, specifically designed for roofs that are frequently exposed to high winds and heavy environmental loads. The clip can extend the full length of the panel or may be used only on specific areas of the roof. The continuous clip design creates an increased area of contact for panel-to-clip engagement, allowing the roof system to bear heavier loads and strengthen its wind uplift resistance. This clip design also allows for complete thermal expansion and contraction of roofing panels reducing risk of oil canning, and giving the system a tight weather seal that lasts for several decades.

Metal Sales manufactures six T-Armor Series panel profiles in 12”, 16” or 18” widths with a 2 3/8” high tee seam. All panel profiles are available in a range of thicknesses from 20 to 24 gauge steel and 0.032” or 0.040” aluminum. All materials are available with a Kynar 500® (PVDF) paint system in a variety of colors. The panels can also be curved for more dynamic roof designs.
